PAOLA CASTRIGNANO'

I'm an Italian set and props designer, based in Rome.

I like working in theatre, movies, exhibitions and in every possible application that requires design, art and creativity.

Especially I love my job because it allows me to create worlds that could not exist in reality and where (almost) everything is possible.

When I start a new project I’m always passionate about experimenting with different mediums and different materials. I have also tried to develop a technical training over the years, working first as assistant set designer and then as stage manager for several theatrical realities. I studied set design at Istituto Europeo di Design in Rome and I have a degree in Performing Arts from Università Roma3.
